With Oregon’s new Stay Home mandate, we’re transitioning our operations to the digital space and encouraging our donors to give online.

As Oregon’s academic health and research center, OHSU is playing a leadership role in the statewide response to the global COVID-19 pandemic. With your help, we can ensure that OHSU’s health care providers have all the resources they need to stop the spread of this disease and care for those who are infected.

Our nation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic is based on a simple principle: we must all band together and do our part to protect the most vulnerable in our society. We invite you to join us in this effort by supporting those on the frontlines of this pandemic.

With expertise in handling complex medical challenges in a rapidly changing environment, OHSU is ready to handle infectious outbreaks like COVID-19. However, the current environment is unprecedented. Citizens are dramatically changing their daily lives to help stop the spread of this disease. Clinicians are working around the clock to combat COVID-19. OHSU’s diagnostic labs are scaling up, and researchers are investigating the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of COVID-19. Hospitals are preparing for what could be a massive influx of patients. In this complex and ever-changing public health crisis, OHSU is leading the way as Oregon’s academic medical center.

Philanthropic support can increase our capacity to diagnose, treat and prevent COVID-19 and prepare for future infectious disease outbreaks.

We have created a new fund for donations to support the most urgent needs related to OHSU’s COVID-19 preparedness and response. These funds will be used flexibly by OHSU leadership to address the highest-priority needs in the coming weeks.
